Segal Lock Company Brings Back the Iron Lock

Classic rim series returns to the market place, offers superior strength and security

SALEM, Va. (June 28, 2002) – NEL Co., d.b.a. Segal Lock Company, announces the rebirth of Segal’s Iron Lock series. The solid iron surface mount rim locks are available in two styles and feature a solid iron bolt and heavy duty internal components.

The Iron Lock is a surface mount deadbolt and is made of solid iron and features a gold-tone finish. It is available as a standard deadbolt or as a “nightlatch,” which features automatic relocking. Surface mount deadbolts are often used on apartment doors where drilling an additional hole for a deadbolt is not desirable.

The Iron Lock Series is available through Segal Lock Company boxed or in display packaging, suitable for retail display. Iron locks come completed with keyed locking cylinder, installation instructions, and mounting hardware. The Iron Lock series includes a limited lifetime guarantee against manufacturer’s defects.
